Many pay their respects and give money to disciples descended from Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba, the founder of the Mouride Sect of Islam.
They give in hope their activities will be blessed.
They believe he performed many miracles, including praying out in the ocean.
PRAY many will come to know Truth.

Pilgrimage for Blessing
Lord, I pray for a revival in Senegal. I pray that men and women would see the emptiness of their efforts to receive a blessing and eternal life from one who no longer lives. Create in the Senegalese people a deeper hunger and thirst for the living water that comes through Jesus Christ. I pray Lord that you raise up evangelists and pastors among the Senegalese people groups to advance your Kingdome there and beyond. Amen.
