Hosting a Course

Coordinator training for EWI is provided through our office in Denver, Colorado. Contact us at info@encounteringislam.org for more information. We highly recommend that at least 1-2 members of your coordinating team complete coordinator training. 

Hosting EWI requires a church or other educational facility, a trained coordinator, a supporting team of 6-10 people, and 6-9 months of preparation to create a budget, invite instructors, promote the course, etc.

Encountering the World of Islam (EWI) is an outgrowth of Perspectives on the World Christian Movement (see www.perspectives.org) and is endorsed as a specialized curriculum within the Perspectives Family. Perspectives is not a prerequisite for EWI, but both courses teach similar values and use similar methods of instruction. We've seen Perspectives coordinators be very effective in coordinating Encountering the World of Islam.
